The wine-growing areas can be distinguished in three macro areas: - from Sellero to Breno, including the municipalities with territory included in the Concarena fans (Capo di Ponte, Ono San Pietro, Cerveno, Losine), and the vineyard areas of the municipalities of Ceto , Niardo and Braone; for a total of 59.41 hectares - the area of ​​Val Grigna with the areas planted with vines in the municipalities of Bienno, Berzo Inferiore, Esine, Cividate Camuno, Malegno; for a total of 56.00 Ha; - the characteristic terraces of the Lanzato area in the municipality of Piancogno and Darfo Boario Terme (Gorzone, Erbanno, Angone), in the municipality of Angolo Terme, Gianico and Artogne; for a total of 26.80 Ha. Thanks to the recent development of viticulture, numerous terraces have been recovered through the reconstruction of dry-stone walls, agricultural roads that have now been abandoned have returned to being transited by tractors. The result is, in addition to the undoubted benefits in the prevention of hydrogeological instability, a slow change in the landscape of the middle and lower Valcamonica with the recovery of the authentic values ​​of the wine: work, territory, originality, biodiversity and tradition, of which the mountain vineyards are a of the highest and noblest expressions, becoming extraordinary monuments to the work of man.
